Hey all! I'd like to introduce my new ISH, a red roan stallion by the name of Skeeterbug! (well that's what PS company has called him) Now, I need to figure out his new name (I want something to bugs haha considering his run name) and a breed for him. I assumed he's just a roan, but then I saw that he has a strange splodge on the right of his cheek. Is he a minimal tobiano/overo/something? He has a blaze that extends to underneath his jaw though, does that make him a minimal sabino? I thought they had to have a belly splash though..? Anyway, I also need your opinion on his new show photos that I took today. I can't decide between two for for his halter and headshot pics. Please help!

Jitterbug Skittles Bee Havin' Thats all I could really think of. I think the first of your body shot and first of the head shots are best, but I don't know what breed. Probably not a QH as I don't think roan like that is common, and definatley not a stock horse. Maybe ask Jane?

Actually I checked out the AQHA site and roan is common enough to be allowed in the registry. I also researched the allowed size of white markings, and his is small enough to be considered okay. So it's all good about his breed lol. Now I just need a decision on the pics, and his name of course.

No offence but I think choosing a name that has got to do something with the run's name is so cliche. Instead just think of a funny name or a name that means something to you, like a movie or book character. Because if you do that it sounds more creative then bug something or other because its highly likely that other people with the same model are going to have something with bug or whatever in it. And with the photos you have to be extra careful because your model is glossy its going to pick up lots of light so try taking photos when its really cloudy and no flash.

When I'm trying to come up with a name, I let the horse "speak" to me about what it's name should be. That's why I'm having trouble with my Templado, Teke, and my Erin Go Braugh.
