what about killing two birds with one stone and have a couloured breds class? just for paints and appy's? but then that's probably a fart in the wind what with all the other stuff going on!

I think after all that just happened we might have to wait for something like that.... but it's a pretty good idea.

i think "broken-coloured"would be better coz palis and buckskins are also classed as 'coloured'.

Woah they're great ideas, guys! And that's interesting about the Society, Belinda. Do they also accept ponies? Just out of interest.
Yes stock horses nowadays are very fine with stacks of TB, compared to the original Waler with Spanish, Arab, TB and Timor pony lines!
What I think is that if Strapless is a TB cross, it can be classified as a 'light breed,' becase the mold certainly has a light frame. I think members, if in doubt, should have their model 'type tested' to see which ring their should be entered in. After all, the type classes are only judged on the horses' type rather than colour. Do you think this would work well?

maybe, if in doubt, have one person who we can refer to. it would only work if there was one person, coz different people may have different opinions.

Do you think this would work well? Straight from the Appaloosa Ass. rulebook: Quote " A horse is not eligible for registration with the AAA Ltd. that has draft, pony, standardbred, and albino, pinto or paint breeding". These are the accepted crosses: APPROVED BREEDING REGISTRIES Australian Appaloosa Association Limited A.J.C. Registered Thoroughbreds Australian Quarter Horse Association Australian Stock Horse Society (See note (i) below) Arabian Horse Society of Australia (See note (ii) below) Australian Stud Book Thoroughbred Australian Warmblood Horse Association Note. When using a Stock Horse outcross, members should ensure the horse has known, acceptable and proven breeding. Note. Arab horses of UNKNOWN breeding (part bred) or Arab riding ponies are disallowed. The onus is on the owner of a part bred Arab to be able to prove by means of copies of registration certificates that their horse is eligible to be used in the AAA Ltd breeding program
