I tried something new today - I used 6 milk crates stacked on top of each other (I stood on one to level) and used a dirtier shade of sand; and a couple of rocks behind. In some cases - the tree behind looks kind of in scale Something I have been trying to achieve for a long time.... I don't quite know how I got this effect; this was my last shot and I tried a different setting on the camera...interesting. Normal subject focus shot. Subject focus shot again. Those are nice photos Georgie, and I love the idea. The only thing though, the legs (mainly one's with white markings) are so bright. Is there a way you could try taking photos at a different time of day so the sun isn't so bright? Otherwise I love the background and the footing, it works really well. =]

I liked the footing, a couple of the photos were to blurry, you might want to change it to macro setting, but the background is out of scale. I highly recommned buying backgrounds from CPS if you want to take up photo showing seriously.
