I just took this picture this morning, but I don't like it. I'm trying to figure out why. I think it might be because the cement makes the model look fake. The good news is while I was down at the river taking this picture, a cruise ship went by. I've never seen a cruise ship go by before, so I took a picture and got a great shot! Too bad the horse picture didn't turn out as good!

I think it may be the headstall. It looks a bit lifted off the face, kinda showing the plasticy look of the horse. The rest of the photo is great though. It may be the cement as well. If you think about it, if that was real cement (in real scale) there would be large bumps in the ground which would be kinda wierd, but I don't think it's too big of a deal.

Heyy! I thought I was having Deja Vu! I didn't realise you were on Fallen Leaves too haha. It's a lovely photo, but maybe next time you go out, position the model further along to the right (so that you don't see the land in the corner) Otherwise I really like it!

Well there's a thought - maybe all call that model Deja Vu in honor of you horsegirl182. And yes, I'm also on fallen leaves. I figured it would be good to post the picture to the 2 sites to get different perspectives. And it seems to be working, because no one mentioned anything about the halter on the other site. But it's true, the halter does look incorrect.
Thanks for the land comment also. I thought it would make the photo more interesting, but it seems to only distract.
Thanks!

I thought the land was fine. It gives more to the photo. Not just concrete, water and the model. Sometimes more in a photo can look nicer. =] But I guess it could just be personal preference.

I personally liked the land in there for the same reason. But I got a lot of comments on the other site about the land being distracting. I think maybe I need to show a bit more of the land so that people can identify it as actually being land.

i think you need something bright-coloured in there- all the colours are pretty much greys and whites and stuff.
