This is my very first attempt at a SM sized bridle. I'm very proud of myself for it. ;D I had to make due without real buckles so I used squashed crimps I thought they look alright. Other than them I'd say it was LSQ. It actually looks better in real life than in picture.

Wow! What a great result from a first try! I think it just needs a noseband, then it'll look really purdy What did you use as the bit?

Actually it's my second try at a bridle. The noseband is in progress, I just grew impatient and wanted to take piccies of it like that. The bit is made out of a chain. I took off two parts and then flattened them a bit. Now I just have to figure out how to make a saddle. But I never settled for less than realistic so it may be a while...

its a little small to see properly, but it looks really good all the same.

Yup yup, already got the rein thing a few times. GP and myself. The crimps aren't even through the leather. Just glued on top. hehe, I'm so clever..... xD

wow what a neat SM bridle! looking at the pic youd think it was real.. if not a trad breyer at least! good job, but yes, once it has that noseband it will look fantasmagorical =D i suck at tack making... actually ive only tried halters...that didnt turn out so great. lol!
