Horsepower is listed on the Breyer website as one of the main Breyer distributors. But they have Breyer shops in America! Imagine all us fussy people sitting in a Breyer shop looking for a mint horse Yeah, sorry, I'd like to keep Cloud for a while because he's so much fun to take photos of He was a girft to me from an American girl that worked here, so sorry, I'm keeping him for a while yet

I have found that Horsepower is very overpriced though. I save so much money getting them from dealers in America, even with Postage charges and such.
You should try R&K Farm Toys. They do have a much smaller range but nowhere near as expensive as horsepower. You can e-mail them and ask for a price list: rkfarmtoys@bigpond.com
Last price list I got had cloud in it.

Horsepower's prices are only so expensive because of customs duties and airmail shipping from the US. Seamail is cheaper, yes, but shipments get lost or diverted (there's the models that ended up in Hong Kong, and another lot in Vietnam somewhere...) and often get water damaged (which means they can't be sold). Customs duties are paid on shipments worth over $1000 AUD (and are very very painful to the hip pocket). Last time I spoke to Lauryn, she's not even making $5 off the sale of a traditional model. She did, however, say that one of her goals for this year is to get the cost of the Breyers down, so... </lecture> On the other hand, buying from overseas you also need to factor in postage (as someone else mentioned) and payment method (international money orders are rather expensive) as well as currency conversion and the cost of the model itself.

Yeah, I do understand about the custom duties and such, I guess it would be kinda annoying, but I do save quite a bit of money when I get them from america mainly cause i get several at one time so postage is a bit more but if you work out how much it would be overall from places in Australia it does turn out that it's still alot lower then some prices.
